Ichiban Sho - Golden Great Ape(황금 오자루)

Although I've titled this 'Ichiban Kuji,' strictly speaking, it's not Ichiban Kuji but rather what's called 'Ichiban Sho' – a figure you buy at its set price without any lottery element. You can even purchase the Last One Prize through direct import on Amazon. Of course, due to adult circumstances, the release date is usually delayed by 3-4 months, or even up to 6 months in some cases.

First off, the Last One Prize definitely makes an impact with its size. It's impressively large, as expected. You might even say it's light for its size, but that's only relative to its dimensions. Considering it's a hollow soft vinyl figure, it has a decent weight.

The standout feature of this Golden Great Ape is its shimmering gold paint, rather than just a plain yellow. It's not quite like this in the original work, but considering its name, it's a pretty satisfying concept.

The detailed paintwork on the face and even the toes is remarkably well done.

The view looking up from below might be the most impressive angle of this figure.

However, there's something about the included stand. It's not explicitly labeled as a stand, but it clearly should be and can only be a stand.

There's no spot where it fits perfectly. Looking at it, it's clearly meant to support the buttocks and the underside of the tail... But it doesn't fit.

I've checked videos from foreign YouTubers, but they either don't use the stand or give up on it like I did. Does anyone know how to use this? I know that it's quite common for soft vinyl figures to lean or bend because they can't support their weight, so this part is a bit concerning.

Still, I'm quite satisfied because it's a perfect figure to display with my S.H. Figuarts series.
